The short version
SoulMate analyzes faces entirely in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded, never sent to us or any third party, and never stored. The only personal data we keep is the email you choose to give us, and your scores (saved on your device).
What stays on your device
When you choose photos, they’re processed in your browser’s memory by an on-device face-mesh model and released — never transmitted. The face-model files download to your device the first time; your images never travel the other way. Your scores live in your browser’s local storage.
If you enter your email to save your results, we store it to send your reading and occasional related messages. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email. We never sell your data.
Photos of other people
You must have a person’s permission before scanning their photo. The same on-device guarantees apply to their photo as to yours — it’s never uploaded or stored.
Payments
Checkout is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle processes your payment and may collect billing details under their own privacy policy; we never see or store your card information.
Cookies & analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand traffic. No face data or photos are ever included.
